Keep in mind to dress for how warm you’ll feel two or three miles into the run. It is less important how you feel when you get out of your house or during the first mile when your body is still heating up. Another way of nailing this rule is to dress for runs as if it’s 50ºF (10ºC) warmer than the thermometer actually reads.
